Q What is wrong in having sex outside of marriage?!

A

Firstly, physical relationship outside the bounds of marriage is a violation of God's law whether it is pre- or post-marital:

Thou shalt not commit adultery

Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

Both the persons who participate in adultery are in sin and error. If we all ask the question, what would my spouse think if she or he knew what I was doing? How would I react if my spouse did the same thing that I am doing now?, we would deny the things that try to gain control of us, the sin that lies wait at the door to bring shame, agony and eternal separtion from God in eternal torment in hell the lake of fire created by God the devil and his angels.

The Bible says walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. If we are filled with the Holy Spirit and are walking daily according to His leading and have communion with Him, we cannot walk in darkness.

Adultery is not just intimate relationship outside the bounds of marriage. Jesus said:" Whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath commited adultery already with her in his heart". The same holds true for a woman also.

Regarding the degree of sin or error it is for God to judge. I believe in Hell, the eternal lake of fire all will be judged and tormented eternally based on the extent of their sins. The reward for obeying God is rest, peace, eternal joy and glory and this is what we should all desire and long for even as we yearn for water and air for our earthly life. Only Jesus Christ can satisfy us for in the presence of the Lord alone there is fulness of joy and at His right hand alone there are pleasures for evermore.
Just stop for a minute and think carefully. If you are faithful and devoted to your wife and have invested your life on this end of our life on this earth in her, and love her truly, how would you feel if she does to you what you have just done to her?

You have rightly called the situation you are in "adultery". If you get separated, legally and by the laws of society, it could be because of one transgression: "adultery". Separation from a wife given to you as a gift from God, because of adultery, outside the bounds of divinely ordained and legally accepted holy matrimony, will never satisfy you. What you have sown that you will reap and will bring you in tears, agony and sorrow and heartbrokennes to the grave. This momentary pleasure which is the tasty flavor of the most poisonous fruit of an evil tree will not set you free but rather be the first link to the chain that will enslave you permanently unless you change your direction and turn your face back to God and regain your first love to your lawfully wedded wife of your youth.

Adultery is abominable in the sight of God. "Thou shalt not commit adultery". The best way to get deliverance is to cut off the bridge that connects man and sin. In other words, stop talking, communicating and having any relationship with the person who is a part of this terrible act that will drag you to an eternal hell in addition to the terrible consequences that await you on this earth. This is the Truth and we will not hide it from you or sugar coat it. IF you haven't heard it before this way then someone did not love you enought to tell you the truth.

Q What is meant by sons of god in the chapter about Noah's times?

A

As many believe in error, the world was not in existence from just 6,000 years back but the Bible says in Genesis, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth". There was a creation that existed in this earth called sons of God and is referred to in the book of Job (Job 38:6,7). They were present and rejoiced when God laid the foundations of the earth in the "beginning". This may have been several billion or trillion years back, but the Bible prefers to refer to it as the beginning. Later God created man in His own image. This was not really an evolution of the first species (sons of God) but really a new creation of God in His own image. Genesis 6:2 "when the sons of God saw that the daughters (woman) of men (man) were fair, they sons of God-previous creation) took them wives of all which they chose".

Q

I have read all of your sermon and am convinced ....

A

....that the New Jerusalem is the true church. I want to know more about true repentence, true forgiveness, true church doctrine, the plain truth, no more errors. Can you help me?

Many greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise be unto the name of the Lord for your acceptance of New Jerusalem Church as the true church as a sequel of your reading the doctrines of New Jerusalem Church through Internet. The church will guide you further.

Many christians like you are assuming that they have been saved as they regularly go to church and read Bible. Salvation is important and it is the change of internal (mind) state, that takes place due to God's power. This experience must be complemented by regular going to church, reading bible and prayer. Without this internal state change, there is no salvation even with these efforts of going to church etc.

You had written that you had taken water baptism in a Christian camp in 1992. Those who gave you baptism must have taught you about Jesus and the doctrines of baptism. I do not know to what extent you had understood this doctrine. Jesus had commanded to give baptism in the name of Father, Son and the Holy Ghost. God means "Father, Son and Holy Ghost". In Gen. 1:1, the word used for God is Elohim. The word Elohim is plural. There are three personalities in Godhead, i.e. Father, Son and the Holy Ghost. Jesus gave authority to perform miracles in His name (Mk. 16:16) But when he commanded to give baptism, he told them to do so in the name of Father, Son and the Holy Ghost. The apostles and the new testament church were giving baptism in exactly the same way. You must correlate the other verses of new testament with the above verse and understand their meanings. Those who give baptism in the name of Jesus, are denying the Father. Apostles say that their fellowship is with the Father and his son Jesus Christ (1 Jn. 1:3). Even Jesus says "believe in God and believe also in me (Jn. 14:1).

Anointing of Holy Ghost is an entirely different experience. The act of baptism is about submitting a soul to Father, Son and Holy Ghost. It brings us into Christ. You must have the anointment of Holy Ghost. The true worship, fellowship, remission of sin will be there in the true church. God gives His faithful servants to the church (Eph. 4:11-14). The true church will have all the doctrines and all the gifts (1 Cor. 1:5-7 & 1 Cor. 12:8-11). The church should have been raised by an apostle. In 1 Cor. 12:28, we read that God gave the church, apostles first.

Pray that the true church and worship be established in your country. God will make this happen in His time. There is a minister, our representative in U.S. Please contact him through e-mail and phone.(I understand he has already contacted you).
We are the circumcised who, having been anointed with the Holy Ghost, worship Him in spirit. You say that you have stopped calling Him, "Father". You must give up those of your opinions and traditions which hinders you from calling Him, "Father" and get ready to call Him "Father".

Confessing sins to Jesus is not wrong but it is mere acceptance of one's guilt. You must confess your sins to those God's men who have got the authority to forgive sins. There are such God's men in New Jerusalem Church. I will pray for you, for your spiritual peace, for your full salvation, for the salvation of your family and for enabling you to bring many people to salvation. May God use you as a tool to establish His church in the Iowa state! May God's peace be with you! May God bless you!

Q WHERE IS THE SCRIPTURES FOR THE STATEMENT.....

A

...YOU MADE THAT THERE ARE THREE PERSONS IN THE GODHEAD??????????????

Your question, "where is the scriptures that there are three persons in the Godhead?" and a long list of Bible passages in support of the Deity of Jesus Christ stands at halfway mark. Yes! without any doubt it is an all-important and universal truth that Jesus Christ is the One and Only True God. In addition to this there remains some other important teachings, which demands our attention for a thorough understanding of the Biblical doctrine of God. It is quite a blunder to deny a Biblical truth if it is misunderstood or hard to believe. One cannot simply remain ignorant of basic Bible teachings without falling into gross errors.

So it is far better for you to know the truth if you read the Bible with an open heart without any prejudiced mind. The lopsided views held by the Only Jesus group and Jehovah Witnesses have done great harm to the Scriptures and Christianity. It is not a question of holding a Unitarian, Binarian, or Trinitarian views in a way of dogmatic enthusiasm. To accept and believing the truth, comprises of submitting ourselves to the exclusive authority of the Scripture which calls us to obey God and His revelations. If you are one among those groups to which I have already mentioned then I am very sorry to pull you any further except in showing you the TRUTH.

The Scriptures clearly teach that there exists three distinct persons in the Godhead. Many are perplexed to understand the doctrine of Trinity; a profound and cardinal truth of the Bible. It is the foundation upon which our Christian faith, salvation, regeneration, sanctification, and glorification rests. Even though the term 'Trinity' is not found in the Bible, God has revealed Himself subsisting in three persons as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They are not three separate 'gods' but One God. Our credo of faith declares: "Hear, O Israel; The LORD our God is one LORD. Dt. 6:4.

There is no polytheistic pagan influence on the unity and oneness of God as often blamed by some anti-Trinitarian groups. We should be very careful to avoid any concept that directly contradicts the scriptures. The revelation of God was in progress in the OT. It finally reached its fullness in the NT at the coming of Jesus Christ. More than any sacred writers of the Bible, our Lord Jesus himself gave hitherto unrevealed things about God Jn. 1:18. So if we understand His teachings and apostolic writings the perfect picture of God will be focused. The Bible says that God sent His Son to redeem the world. Jn. 3:16. It is the 2nd person of the Trinity who was incarnated in human flesh. When Jesus was 12 years old he was well aware of his heavenly God the Father Lk 2:49. In his intimate discourse with his disciples Jesus repeatedly says about his mission assigned to him by God. He vividly speaks about his special relationship with God the Father. Furthermore He also says about another Person called the Holy Spirit, a Heavenly Comforter who will come after His departure from this world. He speaks about Him in the same way God is called and spoken of Jn. 13-17 Chps. If this is not so, what does it mean when the Scriptures clearly indicates different persons present in the Godhead? Or is it a show of mistaken identities played by God? Either there is a work of disguise or an actual Tri-Personal being called God.

In his gospel prologue John calls Jesus as the eternal Word existing alongside God Jn. 1:1. Here Jesus is called as the Word of God, who is also God as a distinct person in the Godhead. In the same chapter Jesus is said to be the only revealer of God Jn. 1:18; 14:9. We can see Trinity in action at the baptism of Jesus. When Jesus stepped out of the water, the Spirit of God descended on him in the form of a dove and the voice of affirmation from God the Father concerning His Son Jesus Christ was proclaimed from heaven. Mt. 3:16,17; Mk. 1:10,11; Lk. 3:21,22. When Christ was manifested in the flesh he became the perfect mediator between God and fallen mankind. I Tim .2:5. How can it be possible for Jesus to commend His own spirit to Himself while he was hanging on the cross? What did the apostles preached on and after the day of Pentecost? They solemnly testified that God raised Jesus whom the Jews killed.

So from all these passage and many more we can understand that God is not acting from time to time as Jesus or the Holy Spirit. Ample proofs for the Trinity is well attested in the scriptures.

By quoting some verses in defence of the deity of Jesus Christ you have almost missed the actual core points which clearly proves the Trinity. So I want to explain this Biblical truth with the same passages used in your Unitarian view.
Mt. 28:18- ".... All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth" Jesus never said 'I have all authority' even though he possess as such. Here he is authorized by someone other than Him. God the Father has given all authority to Him to judge the universe and exert all power over His creation. Phili. 2:9-11;Jn. 5:22.

Jn. 10:30- "I and My Father are One". Whom did Jesus called His Father? Did he called Himself as His own Father as well as Son?. In a purely metaphysical manner Jesus acknowledges God the Father and Himself as separate persons within the God and goes on to stress they are ONE in 'will' and 'action' from all eternity. The Jews of his generation clearly understood the meaning of His statement and planned to stone and kill Him for blasphemy.

Jn. 14:9- "....He who has seen me has seen the Father...." Who is this Father, Philip likes to see? Apostles knew well about God as the Father to Jesus in a very special way. Christ plainly answers that the one who believes and accepts the Son has the Father also in the same way they are united with Him. "Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also". I Jn. 2:23

Mt . 4:4- "....mouth of God" Christ is the 'Logos' of God. He is the collective wisdom, thought and expression of God. Through and by Him the cosmos came into being. Jn. 1:1-3. The world now exists for Him through the Word of His power. Heb. 1:3. Christ is the power and wisdom of God. 1 Cor. 1:24.

Mk. 12:29- "....Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God the LORD one" God is One. There are no other gods besides Him. The great monotheistic code given in Dt. 6:4 is the foremost and central confession of faith. Yet the NT reveals more on the Unity and Plurality of Persons found in the Godhead without any notion of polytheism. "....God is ONE" Gal. 3:20. "....for there is ONE God, and there is no other but He" Mk. 12 :32; "There is ONE God....". 1 Tim. 2:5; Js. 2:19.

Jn. 4:24- "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit truth" While Jesus was on earth He was not a spirit being. He called people to worship God in a manner worthy and well pleasing to Him. During his earthly life Jesus extensively prayed to His heavenly Father for power and authority to do His perfect will on earth. Read Heb. 5:7. He is the perfect model of our Christian life.

Jn. 20:28- "....My Lord and my God" Jesus Christ is Absolute God and Absolute Man united in One Person with two distinct natures without any conglomeration and confusion in His individual being. Read 1 Tim . 3:16. He receives the worship of Thomas. Elsewhere he has accepted the worship and honor of peoples. Jesus is fully worthy of honor, praise and worship. He is the object of divine worship. Acts. 7:59; Heb. 1:6; Rev. 5:12.

Here I would like to see the Jehovah Witnesses to submit themselves to Christ and worship Him as Lord and God. They are unsaved peoples who desperately need Christ for their redemption. There is no difference between Only Jesus group and Jehovah Witnesses. These two Bible twisting heretical groups have brought much damage on Biblical Christianity. The Only Jesus group deny the distinctive Personal elements of God the Father and the Holy Spirit. For them the 'Father'; 'Son'; 'Holy Spirit' are only 'modes' revealed from time to time for different purpose of time and periods. On the other hand the JW's completely deny the blessed Trinity.

Col. 1:9- "For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily". Read carefully Col.1:19. "For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell". Christ possessed all the divine powers and fullness required for a Deity. "God was IN Christ reconciling the world to Himself". 2 Cor. 5:19

Heb.1:1-3; Col. 1:15-. These passages are strongly in favour of Trinitarian exposition.

You have asked, "Are you complete in Jesus ... or are you searching for another God?" Very strange question. One who has never believed and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord God and Saviour is not at all a Christian. True genuine Christians are worshipping the Triune God who has revealed Himself in redemptive work. Salvation is the work of the Trinity. The different spiritual aspects of salvation in a genuine Christian believer is brought forth by God the Father's predestination; God the Holy Spirit's sanctification, and God the Son's glory. 2 Thess. 2:13,14. Read carefully passages related to this truth. Tit. 3:4-6 and 1 Pt. 1:2. The Body of Christ, the Church is under the supervision and authority of the Triune God which is sharply embedded in Eph. 4:4-6. ".... One Spirit (Holy Spirit, the divine Comforter, 3rd Person of the Trinity).... One Lord (Jesus Christ, 2nd Person of the Trinity), one faith(Christ-centered, genuine, true and apostolic), one baptism(essential part of the Great Commission handed to His apostles) and One God and Father of all(God the Father, 1st Person of the Trinity). We are complete in Jesus Christ as well as in God who is composed of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Without this completeness immature and false Christians are excluded from the kingdom of God and heavenly blessings which comes through Benediction:- "The GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, and the LOVE OF GOD, and the COMMUNION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT" be with you all" 2 Cor. 13:14.

You have asked, "does God have three images?". This is an illogical question. It is foolish to seek an answer for something from something that doesn't exist. It is your confused and shattered mind that makes you to ask questions for which you also cannot answer. I cannot take this question raised by a Christian. It may be a ill-formed doubt from a Muslim, JW's, or even some skeptics' quarter.

There is nothing like 'three images' found in the Scriptures. Only Christ, who was manifested in human flesh is declared to be the Perfect Image and Representation of God Heb. 1:3. God can be seen IN Jesus. He had all the attributes and characters of Godhead. There was nothing lacking in Him of the divine qualities that is necessary for being God. The doctrine of Trinity is one of the great mysteries of the Bible. The finite human intelligence is insufficient to fully understand the Infinite God. It is only possible to keep growing in the understanding of the Almighty as far as he has revealed Himself in the Scriptures.

When we say God is ONE, He is ONE-IN-THREE and THREE-IN-ONE. All three Persons of the Godhead is co-eternal, co-equal and co-substantial. None is greater or smaller in any way than the other. Each Person is described as Eternal, Rom. 16:26; Rev. 22:13; Heb. 9:14; Omnipresent, Jer. 23:24; Eph. 1:23; Ps. 139:7; Omnipotent, Gen. 17:1; Rev. 1:8; Rom. 15:19; Jer. 32:17; Heb. 1:3; Lk. 1:35; Omniscient, Acts. 15:18; Jn. 21:17; 1 Cor. 2:10,11; Creator, Gen. 1:1; Job. 33:4; Ps. 148:5; Jn. 1:3; Job. 26:13. Read the Bible with great care and prayer. All doubts will vanish. You can see the clear picture of God as He is revealed in the Scriptures.

Let us worship the TRIUNE GOD.

Q Why do you not let women preach in Church? Do not they have the Holy Spirit?
A Greetings in Jesus' Name. Luke 11:12 states "How much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him". Receiving the Holy Spirit is essential for salvation. Titus 3:6 states, "Not by works of righteousness we have done but by His own mercy He saved us by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost.

Jesus said, "Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest" Mathew 11:28. This rest is the Holy Spirit spoken by the prophet Isaiah 11:28. Jesus invited all to come unto Him. In revelation 22:17 Jesus said, .......He that is athirst come".......also John 7:37. John 7:38, 39 He says "He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake He of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given: because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) The Holy Spirit is for all believers both men and women.

Next: Althought the Holy Spirit is for all believers, there are diversities of gifts but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations but it is the same God which worketh all in all (I Cor 12:4-7). And all these worketh that one and selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as He will.

Further expounding the offices that result from the distribution of God's gifts and the resulting authority, in Ephesians 4:7-11 we read that God gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers. These five ministries involve preaching in the church. These authorities are for the perfection of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for edifying of the body of Christ (Eph 4:12-16). All these five ministries function in the church under the leadership of Apostles (I Cor 12:28) so we may grow into the measure of the stature of Christ.
The ultimate goal of preaching is to help all the children of God grow with one accord in the faith and knowledge of Christ, to the level of perfection of Christ, holding on to Christ who is the head, to be built up as one body in Christ and to protect the church from deceitful teachings in order that its growth be harmonious towards perfection. (Eph 4:11-16).

The apostle Paul says, I Tim 2:14, "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man but to be in silence. For Adam was not first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. A woman has an important role in the family and that is expounded in I Tim 5:14. This is not a part time job but a full time responsibility and it is God who instituted it, for man is to rule over His house and the church of God which is God's house (Genesis 3:16, Esther 1:22, I Tim 2:14).

I Cor 4:34-37 states that The Lord told Apostle Paul not to allow woman to speak in the church and to be under obedience. Further, Bishops and Deacons should be the husband of one wife (I Tim 3:2,12). Women do not fall under this selection criteria!
The aged woman are permitted to teach only the younger woman and the subject of their teaching should be specific to instructing the younger woman to be keepers at home (I Tim 2:3-5).

It is a shame for woman to speak in the church I Cor 14:35; Isaiah 3:12. This is in reference to preaching. Please read the following online article for a detailed instruction on this subject:

WOMEN RULE OVER THEM! women.

Q

Your The very first time the world ever saw the word Iesous (Jesus) was...

A

.... in 1516Up until that time The Name Yah Shua was the only motive power of the first called-out believers! And they never had heard the word Jesus. We do everything in the Name of Yah Shua, which Name was the only Saving Name in the First Church for 1500 years. That Name Yah Shua was the Name given by the angel to Miriam. There must be the Name of the Father in the Name of the Son, and there must be the Name of the Son in the Name of the Father. We challenge the entire, so-called christian world, to come forth and show us a writing in the Bible where The Everlasting Father changed His Only Saving, Hebrew Name, into a meaningless Greek word in the year 1500 A.D. YAH SHUA was brought over into Greek as Iesous; Iesous became Iesus in Latin, and then Iesus in English. In the 16th century, Iesus became Jesus when J was added to the English alphabet...... (from FINLAND)

The Name of God:

And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee(Ps.9:10). God is immeasurable, wonderful, unfathomable and perfect in every aspect. Therefore His various attributes and qualities can not be contained in a single name. A name points to a person. "for as his name is, so is he" (1 Sam. 25: 25). Sometimes we find persons who have the same name have the same characteristics too. God has revealed His name to His people in different ways in different times. We are to take the name of the Lord to mean God. Following are some ways in which God had revealed His name:

1. Elohim (Genesis 1:1)

2. Yeheye asher Yeheye (Ex.3:14- equivalent of Jehovah the eternal)

3. Adonai (Ex.4:10)

4. El Shaddai (Gen.17:1)

5. Jehovah Jireh (Gen.22:14- this is not the name of God but means the Lord will provide)

6.Jehovah Ropheka (Num.12:13- Jehovah the healer)

7. Jehovah Nissi (Ex.17:16)

8. Jehovah Mekkadishkem (Levi.20: 8-the Lord our sanctifier )

9. Jehovah Saboath (Ps.103:21)

10.Jehovah shalom (Jud.6:24)

11. Jehovah Rohi (Ps.23:1)

12. Jehovah Tsidkeenu (Jer.23:6;33:16)

13. Jehovah Shammah (Eze.48:35)

14. Jesus (Matt. 1:21)

In some places when asked to mention His name, God has said, "Who do ask that? It is a wonder". "And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you;
and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM (Jehovah): and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you" ( Ex.3:13,14). Whether it is
called Jehovah or Yah Shua, it is important to note that both refer to God only. There can be differences in translation in every language. For instance, we speak a language called "Tamil". In Tamil, Jesus is mentioned as Ye su which is same as Yah
shua which you mention. If in English they worship as Jesus, there is nothing wrong. As the name refers only to Him, God displays His power of His name. In the name of Jesus, signs and wonders are performed; devils flee; sick are healed; sinners are saved; God is working through the name of Jesus. Therefore we understand that God has accepted that name. "Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: From which some
having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm" (1 Tim.1:5-7).

"Refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness"(1 Tim 4:7). Such type of discussion does not serve any purpose. Such people do not know what they are attempting to achieve. Rather, what is important is to follow healthy doctrines and live a godly life and doing His ministry exhibiting the power of
God.

If you are worshipping God in the name of Yah Shua, it is well and good. At the same time, saying that others are not worshipping properly, or words had been added in translations and so on are pointless discussions. The name Joshua in the
Old Testament has evolved into the name Jesus. But God too has revealed Himself in different names and all names are right and proper. When one worships God calling on His name (as mentioned above) appropriate for the occasion, God
will work accordingly. This is the correct way.

Q ...I am very happy to find out that I am a member of NJC....

A
.... Praise the Lord!He is a great God and I am waiting for the time when He blesses me and cure me from all curses and I will be free, healthy..... (A Sister from Romania)

I understand that you are under confusion regarding the cause of curse which had fallen on your family. In Exodus 20:4,5 it is written, "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me" We understand by this verse that through the ancestors many curses reach their descendents. If your ancestors had followed idol worship, you should say "I command in the name Jesus to clear me of the curse on account of idol worship practiced by my ancestors" In Deut. 7:25,26, it is written, "The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God. Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing". Similarly any of our actions of practicing idol worship or having at our home any images or things associated with idol worship, will attract curse. Therefore if you have at your home any such images of the devil, things associated with idol worship or things kept on graven images, you must remove them.

Also others might have cursed you for some reason or even you might have cursed yourself saying "It is better that I die instead of living like this. If this goes on I will go mad". God gives greater importance to the words of a person rather than the person . Some people curse themselves. At times a husband says to his wife that if he continues to eat the food cooked by her, he will fall sick and die soon. He thus curses himself. Then onwards he will have trouble digesting the food etc. Similarly whatever be the curse, Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree (Gal. 3:13). Therefore you should pray saying, "Lord as you became a curse for my sake by hanging on the cross in order to clear me of the curse fallen on me, please deliver me and clear me of all curses". Apart from the curse due to idol worship, at times parents also could the cause of curses. Say the above prayer and Christ will clear you of the curses. I too shall pray for you.

Q In one of your articles you come against viewing church on television....

A
It is my opinion that television, short wave radio, satellite, and other forms of mass communication are ways that the gospel will finally be preached all over the world. When I was bedridden with an illness for a long period of many years, television ministry was a blessing in my life. I was not able to go to church, so church came to me. Millions have been saved through television ministries. Many have been healed. Many have learned scripture this way. Many have been inspired to read their bibles. This list can go on and on. (From an Internet Ministry)

These days gospel is being propagated through TV and it should continue to be propagated. May millions of people be benefited through this. However there are a few things which we must do faithfully in order to be saved.

1. We must listen to the gospel and believe. We must turn to God and believe in Lord Jesus Christ. "repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ" (Acts 20:21).

2. We must repent of idol worship and all our sins (1Thes. 1:9). "Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin" Hezek.(18:30). We must repent of all wickedness and wicked thoughts: "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD" (Is. 55:7).

3. "Thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus" (Roman 10:9), "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven" (Matt 10:32). We should confess Jesus Christ not before TV but before men. "Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God" (Luke 12:8). Or we should confess Jesus Christ before a man of God: "And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God" (Acts 8:37).

4. We must confess our sins and be baptized in order to be saved. "And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins" (Matt.3:5,6). " John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins" (Mark 1:4,5).

5. We must worship God. We must worship God as a congregation. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Rom.10:13). " arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord" Acts (22:16). "all that call on thy name" (Acts 9:14). "whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered (Joel 3:32).

6. Observe the Holy Communion (1 Cor.11:23-26; Acts 2:42; 1Cor.10:16,17).

7. We must serve God for spreading the kingdom of God. "For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God; Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men" (2 Cor. 9:12-14).

We should give offerings. "Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come" (1 Cor.16:2). "For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things" (Rom.15:27). "Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things" (Gal.6:6).

Salvation occurs in all three states viz the spirit, the soul and the body. We have received the salvation of soul: "Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls" (1 Pet.1:9). We continue to be saved as we our spirit is being cleansed of sins; Salvation is complete only when our body is transfigured which is the redemption of our body for which we groan and travail in pain (1Cor.6:11; Rom. 8:23-25; Heb.9:28). "he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved" (Matt 24:13). Fellowship with church is needed for that. One should worship God as congregation to receive eternal salvation. "Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him (Heb. 5:8-10); Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2Tim. 2:22).

Please note that we have written in that article which you referred, not to conduct worship in TV and we have not written against listening to gospel through TV.
