Q Can you pray for me? I am burdened with many care

A

Cast all your cares on Jesus for He careth for you. He is the source for all our needs. In Him alone all our desired will be fulfilled. When we keep our matter at the Lord's feet and move away so He can take it in His arms and bless it and walk away in peace and refrain from worrying, then the seed for a miracle is sown.

As we keep watering the seed of faith everyday with the Holy Spirit and God's Word, thereby providing the right nutrients for growth, the seed that is sown will sprout. As we continue to serve God and water this growing faith with the Holy Spirit and nourish it with God's Word this seed will grow into a plant.

A plant which has stood the test of time and whose roots grows deep into the ground and taps into hidden resources of water and nutrients will slowly grow into a tree where the birds can rest and people can find shade. Even so when we are rooted and stablished in the faith rooted in Christ and withstand the test of time and wait in His presence giving first place to the Kingdom of God, God will renew us, our body, soul and spirit and nothing shall be impossible for us.

They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles.

Q Hey! Why are you preaching baptism and confession of sins? Stop!

A

God decided without your advice and mine, no one ever knows when, but definetely before you and I were born.
Rom 11:33-36. Acts 8:21-23
Please read, hear and keep the Word of God!
Rev 1:3; Rev 22:14.
Jesus built His house the Church with seven pillars:
found:htm
Matthew 9:6-8
Mathew 3:5,6
John 20:21-23
James 5:14,15
Pro 28:13
Hosea 8:12

In 1 John we read: If we confess our sins He is faithful to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Yes God forgives and the blood of Jesus cleanses us, but it requires confession which is open declaration not to God for He already knows where we erred (Proverbs 28:12) but to the church.
Please read 2 Cor. 2:10 where Apostle Paul forgave a believer's adulterous sin in the person of Christ and declared it in writing contrary to your statement that this is not written in the Bible. All that you said is missing in the New Testament is very clearly captured and written emphatically by the Holy Spirit and we have no excuse. As the Word says, I wrote to them the great things of my law and they were counted as a strange thing, even so it is today.

Priesthood was not done away in the new testament, only the sacrifice stopped. Jesus is the great apostle and He has apostles on this earth to do His work with His authority for He said As my Father sent me even so I send you. Therefore confession of sins did not end with the Old testament for we read in Mathew 3:6 which is ofcourse is in the new testament that many came to John the Baptist and confessed their sins when Jesus was alive on this earth and they could have confessed to Jesus. No one confessed their sins to Jesus directly but to John who was sent by Jesus, God Almighty. In Acts 19:18 Many that believed came and confessed and shewed their deeds. If you and I do not forgive another person's sin, it will still be forgiven if he confesses it to the Apostles for God has given them the authority to remit and to retain as led by the Holy Spirit. The story of Ananias and Saphira is an example of this retention and the above is an emphatic example of apostolic authority to forgive which you and I don't have so the story of the steward is misplaced in this context.

Please read 1 John 3:2-10. Without holiness no man shall see the Lord Hebrews 12:14. Thousands of people all over the world are being led to a life of divine holiness and true forgiveness of sins through this New Jerusalem Church which is contrary to the presumptions and assumptions and human opinions which abound in your response. Our preaching is in accordance with the Word of God. Therefore, even if all the demons in the defeated kingdom of satan withstand us, we will go forward in the Name of Jesus Christ and the authority of His Word and hold on to the victory that Christ has already provided us.

Just something for you to remember. You may or may not be alive when Isaiah 2:1-3 is fulfilled in New Jerusalem Church. For what is your life, it is even a vapor that passeth away. Remember that wicked men such as Jannes, Jambres and Korah who withstood Moses, king Ahab who withstood Elijah, Caiaphas, Pilate and wicked men who tried to stamp out the truth of God's Word revealed unto His apostles and the holy prophets did not go very far. These people who withstood God's servants were religious people having a form of Godliness but denying the power thereof which comes only from proclaiming God's Word truthfully. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further for their folly (I Timothy 4;1) shall be made manifest to all men, as theirs also was.

If you do not believe the Bible, how will ye believe our words. Remember, if you do not accept God's Word but resort to the common and popular beliefs of the so called Christians, and world renown false teachers, remember that the Word of God already prophesied about the last days in 2 Timothy 4:3 that "They will not endure sound doctrine but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers having itching ears". No wonder Jesus said, "He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
Before you start praying for us read: John 9:31. Your response to the truth from New Jerusalem Church is the same that the Pharisees made to the blind man that was healed by Jesus. Therefore, hear the direct warning from God: "If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, we see; therefore your sin remaineth". John 9:41 And therefore, all your unconfessed hidden sins which you claimed you confessed to God but was not declared to the Church or to His Apostles, will follow you to judgment (I Tim 5:24). In accordance with John 20:23 they will be retained, so you will have to pay your debt in full for all eternity Rev 20:12-15.
If no one ever told you this truth it is because they did not love you enough to declare it or were blind!

Q Could you explain more on baptism and it's neccessity. ....

A
Some say the thief was not baptized?

Jesus said, "Suffer it to be so now for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness Mathew 3:15. We should be very careful not to help God or to cite our own opinions on any incident in the scripture for the scripture is prophesy and is not of any private interpretation 2 Pt 1:20, 21. It is God's opinion that is important for scripture did not come casually but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost 2 Pt 2:21.

His Word alone is Truth!

Versus in the Scripture Confirm Baptism is necessary for salvation. Baptism in general refers to water and spirit Baptism Mathew 3:11. Anything to the contrary is the deception of Satan:

Mk 16:16 He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved

Lk 7:30 Pharisees reject God's counsel against themselves by refusing baptism

Acts 2:38 Confession and baptism for remission of sins (sins confessed and baptised Mt 3:6)

Titus 3:5 (saved by washing of regeration-baptism and renewal of Holy Ghost-Spirit baptism)

1 Pt 3:21 (baptism saves us)

Rom 6: 4, 5 (by baptism we are buried into Christ's death and those who refuse this will not be resurrected to life as Christ was)

Eph 5:26 (washing of water-baptism- in obedience to His word to sanctify and cleanse)

Acts 22:16 Be baptized and wash away thy sins Jn 3:5 Baptism of water and Spirit essential to enter God's kingdom

Mt 28:20 Apostolic comission to teach and observe all that Jesus commanded

Rev 22:14 God's kingdom is for the obedient and those who do God's will

Math 7:21 Only those who do God's will enter God's kingdom.

Major Conclusions from above verses:

1. Baptism necessary for salvation

2. Confession of sins to precede baptism for remission of sins

3. All commandments of God handed over to us by the Apostles are to be obeyed, not just baptism, and only the obedient will enter God's kingdom. That is why Jesus said we need to fulfill all righteousness for holiness is obeying God's Word and commandment and without holiness no man shall see the Lord! Hebrews 12:14.

4. Solemn warning to those who add or take away from God's Word should be taken very seriously and in utmost fear Rev 22:18, 19

5. The Bible is the book of the Law by which all shall be judged

6. The Lord says, "I have written to him the great things of my law but they were counted as a strange thing.

7. Washing with water is the commandment that was followed even in the old testament (Exodus 29: 1, 4)so the converted Jews understood its importance in the first century.

8. God's Word cannot be changed even by God Himself for He is true and how dare man alter His Word. For if the law of the Medes and Persians cannot be altered (Daniel 6:8, 12), how much more God's Law?

Baptism is obedience to God's Word and command. In Rev 22:14 we read "Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city". Heaven is for the obedient not for the disobedient. Eph 2: 2,3 says the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience. Acts 2:38 and Matt 28:19, 20 says baptism is a commandment. Baptism is necessary to be saved 1 Pet 2:21 and so is obedience to other commandments given by Jesus to us through the apostles, and is a result of faith. Faith is not dormant, but leads to obedience James 2:19-26 unless it is dead. A dead seed cannot sprout neither can dead faith inherit God's kingdom.

If Jesus said He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved, I believe it. We have testimonies of people who went to hell and came back to life to prove that this verse is true. Heaven and Earth shall pass away but Christ's Word won't. Jesus never said anything just for saying it. He is the Word of God and His Word will Judge all John 12:48.

Some use the instance of the thief to say he was saved without baptism. I have yet to come across a scriptural instance which supports this hypothesis. In Matt 3:5 All in Jerusalem, Judea and region round about Jordan were baptised. Only the scribes and the pharisees refused baptism. The thief on the cross will rise up on the day of judgement and condemn those who refused baptism because he was nailed to the cross and those who refused baptism were free birds and chose to reject God's Word bringing damnation upon themselves in their arrogance Luke 7:30.

It is evident from the thief's statements on the cross that he was a great and strong believer in Jesus because in this distressing moment, when he saw Jesus in His shame and agony, he believed that He was the king of kings and that He would come back in Glory to reign forever. A person who refuses baptism quoting the thief on the cross does not even have a small fraction of the faith that the thief on the cross had!

There is no such thing as partial faith---believing some verses and not believing the rest. Jesus is the Word of God. Believing is obeying! The thief on the cross believed in Christ completely and perfectly and showed his faith in action by His statements on the cross.

Q Is baptism necessary for salvation? The thief wasn't baptized.

A

We have a site dealing with this subject in utmost simplicity in the light of God's Word. Yes salvation is through Jesus alone but one most important thing that is mostly overlooked in Salvation is separation from the crooked and perverse generation (Ap. Peter was referring to the Jews who claimed to be walking in God's Word and said they were Abraham's Children, but who crucified Jesus) as in Acts 2 (also Psalm 1).

Once again, please note that all Jerusalem and Judea and everyone except the scribes and the pharisees, etc were baptized. The thief does not fall into any of the above categories who refused John's baptism.

If Jesus said He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved, I believe it. We have testimonies of people who went to hell and came back to life to prove that this verse is true. Heaven and Earth shall pass away but Christ's Word won't. Jesus never said anything just for saying it. He is the Word of God and His Word will Judge all.

The thief on the cross will rise up on the day of judgement and condemn those who refused baptism because he was nailed to the cross and those who refused baptism were free birds and chose to reject God's Word bringing damnation upon themselves in their arrogance Luke 7:30.

Q You guys are demon possessed. Jesus wanted me to tell you this. Questions?

A

While we do not like to waste our time by replying to people who think they are talking by the spirit of Jesus, but in reality talking by the devil spirit, God will give fitting reply in His time. Get cleansed of the spirit that is possessing you and you will get the proper vision. We have nothing towards you except pity

Q What do you mean by open confession?.........

A

...I found it in one of the articles by Chief Apostle N. Lazar.

Greetings in Christ! Chief Apostle N. Lazar was saying that confession is open solemn declaration to the man of God, followed by God's counsel to overcome the sin in which we fell, so we don't repeat the mistake again (2 Samuel 12:13, Leviticus 5:5, Nehemiah 9:2, Mathew 3:5,6). It is not wrong to confess to God, but true forgiveness and holiness is obtained only when we follow God's instruction clearly revealed in God's word (John 20:23).

God is aware of the sins we committed. He that covereth his sins shall not prosper; but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy Proverbs 28:13. We cannot cover our sins before God because all things are open and manifest to Him Heb 4:13. Biblical confession is before the men of God, the Apostles called by God and sent by Him, who have this authority to forgive sins confessed to them (in the presence of God Mt 18:19,20). Only those who have this authority can prepare the church, the bride for His rapture (2 Cor 11:2, Col 1:28).

The unsaved went to John, confessed their sins, and were baptized of him Mt 3:6. Whatsoever is made manifest in God's presence is light (Eph 5:13) i.e. when we confess our sins to the man of God sent by God, then we are purified and light enters into our soul. If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 Jn 1:9 Jn 20:23. God has given this authority to His apostles and manifests and implements this authority through them. This is the way to true deliverance! Acts 19:18. Neh 9:2

The one who sinned should be remorseful of his or her sins and should repent (II Cor. 7:9,10). One should believe in Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 16:31-33). One should confess his/her sins without concealing them, and be baptized for repentance of sins, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit). Then his or her sins would be forgiven and he/she shall be cleansed (Acts 22:16; 2:38). Afterwards he should abide in the fellowship of the church (fellowship of the apostle) and worship the Lord. If he has erred, he must confess before the congregation, else, he should confess his sins without concealing before an authorized minister of God and request his prayers for him. Sin hides the face of God and causes separation from Him (Is.59:1). God does not listen to sinners (John 9:31); The fellowship with the church and God is disturbed. God hears the prayer of righteous man (James 5:16; John 9:31). God does not hear the prayers of sinners (Pro. 28:9; Zach. 7:11-13).

In the Old Testament: 1. Only the priest ordained by God could make atonement for sins. When the sin committed inadvertently comes to light, the sinner must come to the priest with the sacrifice and confess his sins before him. The priest would then make atonement for the sins. Then his sins would be forgiven (Lev. 5:5-10). 2. God forgives sins, hearing the intercessions of judges and ministers ordained by Him. Therefore one should confess his sins only before them.

See: When people confessed to Moses that they had sinned, Moses advised them to look at the bronze snake, which he had put up on a pole. Those who had looked lived (Num. 21:6-9). Though a sinner, man conceals his sins and presents himself as a good man in front of others. When he goes before God (in prayer), he reveals his true state. However before men he hides his true state and claims to be good and sinless. Therefore confession is revealing oneself. It is not necessary for someone to reveal himself before God, as God knows everything. Everything remains uncovered and lays bare before His eyes. Not only when someone is sinning, but even before such a thought enters his mind, God knows it (Heb. 4:12,13). Only men of God (ministers of God) are not aware of everything. Therefore only before them, one needs to declare, reveal and confess. Moreover God ordains the men chosen by Himself for the people. They (ministers, prophets and holy men) are appointed by God to pray for the people for their sins. Hearing their prayers, God forgives the sins of the sinners. A believer should confess his sins in front of the congregation or before a true minister of God and request prayers for himself.

The method of receiving remission of sins: Sin is divided into three categories:-

1. Sin committed by man against himself: drunkenness, drug-addiction, smoking, masturbation, sodomy, fornication etc.
2. Sins against others: Telling lie, stealing, killing, anger, jealousy, cheating, blaspheming, carrying tales etc.
3.Sins against society: Discrimination (racial/caste), dirtying public places, bribery, transgressing common laws, unlawful activities etc. Generally, all types of sin are acts against God.

As man sets aside by his sins, the ordinances and the conscience given to him by God, it is nothing but a sin against God Himself! Moreover, man is obliged to be grateful to God for the handiwork of God which he enjoys such as water, air, light and the world. When man fails to be grateful to God, he becomes guilty. In this way, as man realizes his sin and is convicted of his erroneous past life, he should be remorseful of his sins, repent (to God), believe in Lord Jesus Christ and confess his sins in the presence of God. He should request the ministers of God to pray for himself. Then his sins would be forgiven (Gen. 20:7).

In the New Testament, only when a man repents and is baptized for the remission of his sins in accordance with the verses Mat. 3:5,6 and Mark 1:4,5 that his sins are forgiven and washed away. Afterwards if he commits a sin, he should receive forgiveness for his sins by confessing in the above manner. During that time, he will also receive counsel to escape from sin. See Luke 3:7-14. Remission of sins is one of the authorities, which God had given to the early apostles. This is an apostolic authority. Only the true church has the apostle. The church, which does not have the apostle, is not the true church. Only in the perfect church there can be perfect doctrine. Only in such a church, Christ will act to bestow perfect salvation.

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

God Bless You!

Q Can you help me get over this? I am a victim of divorce. Your sister in Christ.
A Greetings in Christ! Do not lose heart! The best is yet to come. Our heavenly bridegroom is coming soon. He is our desire, He is our hope, He is our longing, O my soul yearns for Him and I look up each day saying this might be the day my Lord, my lover, my Jesus will come. May our heart overflow with His love. I will embrace Him when I see Him again and He will put His arms around me and say how much He loves me and I shall be satisfied with His love, the greatest, the true love that passeth all understanding Eph 3:18-20 Song of Sol' 8:3. May we prepare ourselves to meet Him with those who worship Him truly in Spirit and in Truth, the Church that is seated together with Him in heavenly places Eph 2:6.

Q Your stance on evolution is wrong as any scientist would know.

A

We have passed on your comments to the editor who will review and compare it with the authentic manuscripts on evolution and respond to your comments. We are responding more from the original evolution theory proposed by Darwin rather than the opinions that have brought this theory to its present state (hypothesis building on more hypothesis!). Further, your response has started with the word "Let us assume". We operate from facts rather than assumptions. Assumptions are wide and varied and are not absolutes. The Bible is the absolute. It does not start with the word "Let us assume". It says "This is it" and gives a historical account of what happened. We can provide numerous accounts and challenges of why the Bible is the absolute. What was proposed by Darwin is only a hypothesis and he himself did not believe in it towards the end of his life. A theory or a hypothesis about which an author itself is in doubt and which has evolved to its present state due to opinions and prepositions put forward by some scientists is subject to evaluation.

Further you have made statements like "any scientist knows" and in the spirit of your response you seem to inadvertently reply that scientists are in support of evolution. The greatest scientists of all times rejected the evolutionary theory and we can provide you with their names. This response also comes to you from a global award winning scientist in the field of environmental engineering. So you are not talking to a layman. However, I am not the editor, so you can wait to respond to my reply until you hear from the editor which you can treat as the official response.
Thanks for contacting us and taking the time to visit our page.

We enjoyed responding briefly to your comment and would love to continue to be in touch.

That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us, and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His son Jesus Christ 1 John 1:3 (So I hope you see the difference!)

when God judges those who believe in evolution because of their intentions to boldly disregard the creator, He is going to use the Bible, not scientific theories. I am referring to the judgement day; however we have provided a few sound facts to disprove the feeble and unrealistic imaginations put forth by many; therefore it is better we stay away from too many scientific explanations, because the science required to disprove the wisdom of man through God's foolishness is evident in the Bible. In future, if we have the time and resources to supplement our articles we will try to do so.

Christianity is built on one Word: FAITH. It is defined in Hebrews chapter 11. Without faith it is impossible to please God: Jesus Christ the Almighty who created the heavens and the earth by His Creative Word, the True Wisdom who enlightens the scientists who seek the truth.

The greatest scientists of all times did not believe in evolution. Science started from the Bible. If evolution is right tell me why today there is no evolution from man to a higher species.

You cannot claim to be a Christian when you don't believe the Bible completely. All scientific evidence to date has only proved the Bible. Evolution is not scientific. It is man's imagination which has never been proved and ever will be. The Bible has stood the test of time and is the oldest Book in History. It has never changed! But the evolution theory has changed time and again which is analogous to changing human fashion with time.

Evolution is finite, but the Bible and God are infinite. God is all powerful.

It is appointed unto all once to die and after this the judgement. We shall all stand before God and give account for every second of our life. Without holiness no one can stand before God or even see His face.

Q Can you tell me in simple terms how to obtain salvation?

A

Greetings in Christ! Praise the Lord for your desire to obtain salvation. Jesus said, ig anyone come unto me I will in no wise cast them out. He further added, come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon me and learn from me for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. The first step in salvation is to repent from sins we have committed and commit our lives to Jesus. Repenting is realising that every sin that we committed was borne by Jesus on the cross and that He suffered in our place. For the sins we did with our hands, His hands were nailed to the cross. For the sins we did with our feet, He was nailed in His feet and fastened to the cross. For the sins we committed in our thoughts, He wore the crown of thorns. See from His head, His hands, His feet; sorrow and love flow mingling down; did ever such love and sorrow meet, or thorns compose so rich a crown. The burden of our sins were so heavy that Jesus could not bear the cross and fell down. He was chastised with stripes on His back and blood came gushing out from His wounds. He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement for our sins was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 (Please read the whole chapter 53).

If someone did this to our child would we ignore it? For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved. For as many as believed Him to them He gave authority to become the sons of God.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. This belief will lead you to:

- repentance and confession of your sins

- obedience to the word in immersion baptism

- bold outward testimony of your faith to others

- desire to receive the Holy Spirit of promise

- baptism of the Holy Spirit

- worshipping God with Godly fellow believers

- preparation for the second coming of Christ

If you need more help on how to achieve this in your life let us know. We will lead you to salvation through prayer. Find a quiet place and say this prayer from your heart:

Find a quiet place and say this prayer from your heart: Lord Jesus, I have sinned and nailed you to the cross. But I believe that your blood was shed for me and can wash away the vilest sin and make the sinner pure and holy. I commit my life completely to you. From now on you are my Lord. You are first in my life. I will pray and seek your will and satisfy you in everything. Lead me to confess my sins and obey Your Word in the waters of baptism. Fill me with the power of the Holy Ghost so I can live a powerful and victorious Christian Life. I love you Lord! You are more precious to me than anything because you gave your life that I may live. Lead me, guard me, guide me and protect me. I will read your Word every day and spend time in prayer in your presence. I will start the day in prayer and the Word and will end it in your presence. In Jesus Christ's Name my blessed Lord and Savior, Amen.

If you need further information and guidance, prayer or counsel or more information on how to confess your sins and be cleansed by the blood of Jesus you can write to:

Q What is the definition of being saved?

A

saved since most people take the traditional definition, "by believing and through faith in Jesus Christ our Lord" as final and universally accepted and hence no more discussion is warranted. We have subjected this single most important and fundamental subject also to critical analysis through' scriptures and God's revelaation and our views are as follows:

Act of accepting Jesus as saviour and praying for forgiveness is part of repentance which is the first and the most important act a sinner is to do but saving is more than this. A saved person is a new creature, different from what he was. He has turned away from sins, his sins have been forgiven and has taken a decision not to sin any more. If this is what you would expect a saved person to be, then he has already died for sins and risen for righteousness. Now we know that this happens during baptism. Hence logically salvation is through baptism.

Now if this does not sound convincing enough, just think of a saved person who has not died for sins, who has not been rinsed of his sins and who has not risen for righteousness, ...(all those which bible tells us take place during baptism)-it just neither sounds logical to us nor, more importantly, biblical. Now one may point out all those verses which link the salvation to faith. But then, can there really be faith if it is not followed by actions? (Jas:2:14:

What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?) Also We know that Jesus did not accept that the Pharisees and scribes had faith in Moses though they were under the impression that they are the true disciples of Moses.

( Joh:9:28: Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses' disciples. Joh:5:46: For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.)

All those, who have accepted Jesus as their personal saviour and do not want to get baptized by water and spirit, are to Jesus what those Pharisees and scribes are to Moses, if Jesus' yardstick for faith is to be applied.

Mk 16:16: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; 1Pt 3:21: ... baptism doth also now save us ...

May God bless you! New Jerusaalem Church-HQ.

Note: We, at New Jerusalem Church, while accepting the authority of Scripture, wait for God's revelation, when it comes to interpretation of the same, especially when multiple interpretations are possible, even for fundamental doctrines. That is one way we learn Bible. Sometimes God himself reveals things to us. After all, He has built New Jerusalem Church and it is His own. But whatever way we get the revelation, we happily accept them even if the whole world thinks otherwise. Our experience with all the God's revelations are that they are always according to Scripture and also extremely logical.
